Walk or run at your own pace, based on your heart rate. This year round group is designed to help participants keep active during treatment, recover from treatment, get started in a fitness program and to maintain a fitness level year round.

Snowshoeing      
Keep on training throughout the winter months using showshoes. If you are interested in getting together for a couple of hours of snowshoeing, please contact Sara Peacock at 957-0381. TSP has several sets of snowshoes to loan. Time and location to be arranged pending interest.

EVENT: Frank Maier Marathon and 1/2 Marathon
START: 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.

This event is for runners and walkers.
Start times for the Frank Maier Marathon are 7 AM (runners expecting to finish in less than 5 hrs) and 6 AM (runners expecting to finish in less than 6 hrs). Start times for the Douglas Island Half Marathon are 9 AM (runners expecting to finish in less than 3 hrs) and 8 AM (runners expecting to finish in less than 4 hrs).

EVENT: Klondike Road Relay

A perennial favorate, this is the event that launched TSP. Join either the running team or one of the walking teams. This is a great way to end the summer training season and a perfect launch to other fall and winter race training.

The race commences Friday evening in Skagway, Alaska, follows the trail of the Gold Rush Stampeders over the famous White Pass, through British Columbia, into the Yukon finishing Saturday in Whitehorse, along the bank of the Yukon River.
